What is a Yixing zisha teapot? Yixing zisha (purple clay) teapots are handmade from unglazed clay fired at high temperature. Over time the clay absorbs tea oils and develops a natural patina that deepens the flavor of your tea. Each pot is one of a kind.
What is included in the Zisha Teapot Gift Set? Each set includes 1 Yixing zisha teapot and 4 handleless tasting cups, presented in a deep-blue fabric gift box with foam inlay, ready to gift.
What is the difference between Zini and Zhuni clay? Both are authentic Yixing clays. Zini (purple clay) is the classic choice, gentle to season and versatile. Zhuni (red clay) is prized for its warm color and its ability to enhance the aroma of lighter teas such as oolong and raw puerh.
Is the teaware food-safe? Yes. Every piece is kiln-fired at high temperature and is safe for brewing tea. Natural variations in clay color and texture are part of the craft, not defects.
Care and Seasoning
How do I season a new zisha teapot? Rinse the pot with warm water, steep a light tea once, and discard the first steep. Never use soap: the unglazed clay absorbs flavors and oils, which builds the character of the pot over time.
How do I clean my teaware? Rinse with warm water only and pat dry. Let gongfu set pieces air dry completely before storing. Avoid dishwashers and detergents.

Do you ship internationally? Yes, we offer free worldwide shipping on all orders. Orders are processed within 1-3 business days, and delivery takes 7-12 business days to the US, EU and Australia. Tracking is provided within 48 hours of dispatch.

What is your return policy? We offer a 30-day hassle-free return policy. If you are not completely satisfied, contact us within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, no questions asked.
What if my order arrives damaged? Contact us with photos within 7 days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
