Two problems, one fitting

If your shower feels weak, the cause is usually scale and sediment blocking the outlet holes. If your skin and hair feel dry and stiff after showering, the cause is usually what is still in the water — chlorine and dissolved hardness minerals.

This head addresses both. The nozzle plate is designed to keep pressure high with less water, and the transparent handle holds a layered mineral filter that catches sediment and reduces chlorine before the water reaches you.

What it fixes

  • Weak, dribbling shower pressure — especially on upper floors or in older buildings
  • Dry, tight skin and dull hair after showering
  • Scale and rust particles staining the shower and tray
  • Chlorine smell in the bathroom

What's in the box

  • 1 × filtered high-pressure shower head
  • 4 × replacement filter cartridges (roughly a year of use at one cartridge per quarter)
  • 1 × thread seal tape

How to install — no plumber needed

  1. Unscrew the old head. Turn it counter-clockwise by hand. If it is stuck, grip it with a cloth — do not force the pipe.
  2. Fit the new head. Screw it on hand-tight. Wrap the thread with the supplied tape first if the joint weeps.
  3. Run it for 30 seconds. The first flush clears loose filter dust. After that the water runs clear.

Will it fit your shower?

It uses the standard 1/2-inch connection found on the vast majority of handheld shower arms and fixed arms worldwide. It is a hand-held style head, so it works best on an existing hose or arm. If your shower uses a proprietary rail fitting, check the thread before ordering.

Frequently asked questions

How often should I change the cartridge?

Roughly every three months in hard-water areas, longer in soft-water areas. You can see the cartridge through the clear housing — when the beads discolour noticeably, replace it.

Does it actually increase water pressure?

It increases the velocity and coverage of the spray by concentrating flow through a finer nozzle pattern. It does not raise the pressure in your plumbing — if your whole supply is weak, no head can change that.

Will it fit a fixed rain-shower arm?

It screws onto a standard 1/2-inch arm, but it is a handheld head, so it hangs rather than mounts flush. It is designed for hose or arm mounting.
